Hacker Notebook

Whoami

Hello, my name is Brian. I transitioned into full-time penetration testing somewhere around the end of 2020. Hacker Notebook is an extension of my interest in tinkering with technology. Security blogs have been a cornerstone of my learning journey and I hope this blog provides value back in a similar manner. You can read more about my hacking setup here or contact me here.

Website

This website is powered by 11ty/Eleventy. 11ty is a static site generator written in JavaScript that converts Markdown (and other formats) into the HTML you see here. I followed this setup guide, modified the CSS from Stephanie's smol eleventy starter template, and hosted the content with Cloudflare pages. GitHub actions and Cloudflare pages handle the page builds. I followed this Cloudflare pages guide to allow Cloudflare to pull and build from my GitHub repository. With this implementation GitHub actions confirms the build status before merging to the production branch.
